I do have to say, at moments like this very one right here right now, that I do miss being able to walk into another room and tell the person there,

"Hi. I need someone to tell me that I am beautiful, that I am loved, that I am not crazy, that I have something worthwhile to contribute, that everything's going to be alright, that those shitheads over there can just kiss my ass, that no matter what happens, I still have what it takes to at least live, just a little."

And then that person, whoever they are, will give me a big hug, and say,

"Of course. Don't be such a goofball."

Additional bonuses to above would be: neck massage, playing with hair, a little snuggle while watching a movie or some random tv, sex, a trip to the movies, or going out for a drink.

But that's OK. I will manage to soldier on, anyhow.
