Settling into Singledom

enteleinIt is very satisfying to work through all the different food items as I clean things out. Use a can of tomato paste here, a can of asparagus there, oh, hey, here's a box of bread mix for the bread machine.
Since I've been living in this apartment alone, my sense of control over my home environment is at an all-time high. I feel relaxed, I sleep well, I know where things are. It's cleaner. I want to have parties. I just threw a weekend party, for pete's sake.
The only thing wrong with this moment is the fact that the rotator for the mixer on the bread machine is squeaking. Damn. That's annoying.
