Hahahahaha. Morning.

It's 9°F out. (without windchill calculation, mind you)

I shall be strong. I shall also be getting coffee once I reach work.

Murrr.

It's colder than a witch's titty here in NY today, with windchill somewhere in the vicinity of Satan's nads.

For once I am happy that my office is always about 80 degrees in the winter. I may thaw out sometime before noon.

It's currently 20 degrees with flurries in Boston. And yet, when I arrived int he office this morning (usually I'm the first, today I was the third or fourth), someone had opened a HUGE window near my desk. WTF people?

The temperature is fine here, at -7C (14F), but the snowfall is so bad (22" / 55cm, with another 4" / 10cm forecast) that London Transit has shut down.

Man, it didn't look so bad when I went down in the elevator... but when I couldn't get into the bus shelter, that's when I realised that maybe I should've checked something more reliable than the Transit company's web site.

I fail at teh math: -7C works out to 19F, not 14F.

-- Steve'd find it downright pleasant if it weren't thigh-deep snow out there.

Come visit, we can go swimmin'

Aaah, -7C here (19F...for some reason, I do cold weather in Celsius and warm weather in Fahrenheit. I don't know, but temperatures lower than 70F mean absolutely nothing to me when given in Fahrenheit). That is evil and cold and, yeah, ok, you win. Still: why, weather gods?

Blankets and hot chocolate!

I used to be the same way - I learned Fahrenheit for Kansas summers and Celsius for Manitoba winters.

See, but that makes sense. I don't have that excuse, since I'm in New Jersey all year. It's weird.

I'm in a little neighborhood called Avondale.

Yeah, there's a few Barnes & Nobles in Chicago - I worked at Webster Place for a year or two ...
