Toy Story

A completely solid and enjoyable movie. Maybe it was silly of me to watch Monsters, Inc before seeing this, but it didn't matter, ultimately. They're both wonderful. I wasn't too concerned with noting the advances in the computer animation - I just wanted to sit back and enjoy myself.

Again, the voice acting was just excellent - the casting was truly fitting.

My favorite part was probably the little green army men. I will never forget them.

This is why I have Netflix! Because almost every single movie I watch, someone says, "OMG, you hadn't seen that before???"

i just watched the special remastered editions of Toy Story 1 and 2 this weekend. They're still SOOOO good, even if TS1 looks rather primitive compared to Cars or The Incredibles. It just proves that story, characters, and artistry are what's important, not the latest whiz-bang graphics.
And damnit, Jessie's song made me cry!

Yeah, the story meant a lot to me. I am finding some of the newest animation to be pushing it a bit with everything being so shiny and reflective and stuff, that Toy Story was sort of a relief, in a way. It wasn't as much of an assault of the senses.
