Batman Begins

Dude. That was good. Really, really good. I wish now I had seen it on a big screen, even IMAX.

Also, I really loved the Batmobile. Partly because OMG chase scene on Lower Wacker Drive, and how many times have I gone tearing through there in various vehicles over the years? Haha, Chicago = Gotham. I love it. I never did see any of the actual filming when they were in town, but it was still really fun to see them tearing right past the buildings I walk by every single weekday to work.

Man, that was good. Christian Bale is just a pretty, pretty person, but also so tightly controlled and grounded that he becomes entirely fascinating to watch. Good times.

You've totally got me all itching to watch a movie now.

a movie, or this movie?
I have to agree though that this movie is great; though not amazingly astoundingly taking the cake to other movies for me, it was still a great version of Batman, and I'm looking forward to how they re-tell the Batman comics in this new 'series'... likely... :)

Well, Batman Begins is the next movie on my netflix queue, so I suppose, in this instance, a movie and this movie would be one and the same ;-).

supar-great movie!

I could nitpick the science of the Evil Microwave Device a bit (aren't humans mostly water?), but it was so good otherwise that I'll let it slide.

Yeah, that annoyed me too. Especially because I felt like so much in that movie was done so right, it seemed insane to me that they could let something that is that obviously nonsensical end up in there.

But other than that, I loved Batman Begins. When I saw it in the theater I loved every minute of it. And when it was over, I almost instantly decided it was amongst my 10 faves of all time.

One sour note: I think it is better on the big screen. I bought the DVD and watched it a couple of weeks ago, and it loses something on my crappy 20" TV.

IMAX rocked, and I had the same Wacker vision and I haven't been on Wacker since like 1996!

Beheheheh, and I think that was before they did the reconstruction, too, so you got to see it all old skool. Good times.

For my girlfriend, I think that movie was orgasmic. She loves Batman. In high school, she and her friends would have annual Christian Bale movie marathons. And even I can tell that Cillian Murphy is hot. It was one of those times where she told me not to take offense if she drooled.
