Netflix: Batman Begins (2005)

Dude. That was good. Really, really good. I wish now I had seen it on a big screen, even IMAX.
Also, I really loved the Batmobile. Partly because OMG chase scene on Lower Wacker Drive, and how many times have I gone tearing through there in various vehicles over the years? Haha, Chicago = Gotham. I love it. I never did see any of the actual filming when they were in town, but it was still really fun to see them tearing right past the buildings I walk by every single weekday to work.
Man, that was good. Christian Bale is just a pretty, pretty person, but also so tightly controlled and grounded that he becomes entirely fascinating to watch. Good times.

Date: 2006-01-05 04:21 am (UTC)I have to agree though that this movie is great; though not amazingly astoundingly taking the cake to other movies for me, it was still a great version of Batman, and I'm looking forward to how they re-tell the Batman comics in this new 'series'... likely... :)

One sour note: I think it is better on the big screen. I bought the DVD and watched it a couple of weeks ago, and it loses something on my crappy 20" TV.
