The yelling, football-obsessed mom kinda freaked me out, because it was one of the things I still hate being around to this day: the shrieking stress of a fan yelling angrily: a true display of disturbing apoplexy.
Gallo's arrogant, sure, but he does some interesting stuff with the camera, and with colors. Christina Ricci is way hot, even with the shiny metallic blue eye shadow and strangely-blonde hair. Her dance at the bowling alley was probably my favorite bit, just because it was surrealistically lovely and odd and provided a much-needed break from Gallo's portrayal of neurotic asshole headcase Billy.
