My biggest problem is that she has addmitted (and quite proudly) that she knew what our standards were and what everyone else there would be dressed like and she purposely dressed as oppositely to that as possible. Then the whole night we have to introduce her as "our friend". Yah, our good friend that purposely embarrased us and wouldn't shut up with her constant complaining. Some friend, huh?
I'm ready to move on with life without this couple. It's just going to be a pain to do nicely and I'd rather not be rude.
I have recently had to "let go" of a friend who was just not getting it...I have known him for years and he just wants me to "party" with all the boys all the time ..i just stopped calling him...
Now I just have to find something in common with somebody else that lives near here and has a wife that will get along really well with my wife .... no problem .. right .... right???? :(
LOL.. i have like 0 friends here in vegas i find that most LDS people and i don't get along since they are so square ... My wife wants to live in boise someday so if that works we can hang out while they have children and stuff...lol
That would be SWEET! I have the same problem. Nobody has a real life outside of just family. Family rocks and all, but I'm a person too thank you very much.
Nope. Almost once when my family was in town, but I ended up taking care of the little ones while everyone else went. They all came back with rave reviews.
