The Game (1997)

There were many, many things I really liked about this movie, as much as I balked at just how plausible it would all be. But then I think, well, I've basically asked people to immerse themselves in worlds where old people undergo genetic therapies to live forever, or where machines rule the human construct, so.

The moment with the X marking the spot? One of the best moments in the whole thing, on so many levels. It was just a deliciously perfect moment, for what that movie was, and all that moment represented.

Also, Yuri Lowenthal and Sean Pean have practically the same eyes.

It really is an ARG of a movie, in spite of the number of times I was yelling at Michael Douglas' character for being an idiot.

The way I live, I have too much drama, and too many life lessons, it seems. Gimme $5 and I'll come up with something! ;)

You love it for the same reasons I do, except the eyes.

You don't think they are similar, or you never noticed?

I loved this movie as well.

Of course, I also had a huge crush on Michael Douglas before he got all pasty.

I suppose it has to happen to most men. But the fact he's 40 years older then me? My hormones never cared.

Actually, generally age has never been an issue for me, but that's a whole other story.

I'm just sayin', he can't halt time.

Me, I've got no problems with age, either. :)
