Sep. 6th, 2003 11:50 amUntil my brain actually finds it logically feasible to pay some doctor to give me a prescription for some heavy-duty allergy medications, I am self-medicating thusly:
Two Tylenol allergy sinus pills, a strawberry smoothie to rest them on, and a mug of strong coffee. I feel wired beyond belief, but the jittery wakefulness is far preferable to wanting to claw the sinus areas under my eyes and along my nose straight out of my face with my bare hands. Yesterday at work I hit upon this miracle cure when I ordered a super-huge iced coffee from the shop downstairs, added just a little milk and raw sugar to it, and then took the aforementioned Tylenol.
Everything becomes sort of otherwordly, being that hepped up on caffeine, antihistamines, and decongestant, but the resulting clarity and lack of sneezing is sweet and divine.
Here's to lovely weather, too: 79°F, but it feels much cooler for low humidity. Perfect.
