Yeah, never saw either of them before. One of the reasons I got Netflix is so I don't have to have people faint away when I tell them the movies I haven't seen. :)
Yay, I love Netflix! I wish I could still afford to subscribe. I used to, and I had a whole great queue lined up, and there are even more movies I want to add...but I can't afford it. My brother-in-law has signed up for it while his wife (V.'s little sister) is studying for four months in England, and he did get one DVD at my request, but he's paying for it so I can't really bug him for more. :P
Fooey. Yeah, I am not sure how long I will keep the service, but there's plenty of movies in my queue without hardly even trying (something like 70 or 80, easy).
It's pretty nifty. I send a movie back on a Monday, get a new one by Wednesday. Sweet!
Geez, those two flicks SUCK. I mean, talk about B-grade exploitative made-for-a-quick-buck TRASH. Wouldn't watch 'em at my local drive-in on two-for-one discount night, yo.
I mean, yaketta yakketa yakketa for like two whole hours staring at Orson's big ol' googly eyes, and it turns out in the end it's all about some stupid SLED? And then what is the DEAL with Bogie and that constantly clenched jaw of his?!?! You'd think the love of his life ran away to live underground with some Nazi resistance fighter and then showed up again at his bar at the worst possible time, throwing him into some insolvable moral QUANDARY, or something!!! Weak.
Hah. Next time, I recommend you revamp your Netflix queue and check out some REAL quality cinema instead, like DUMB AND DUMBERER or THE ADVENTURES OF JOE DIRT. Now THERE's some subtle film work.
we signed up for screenselect, and, damn, are we ever getting our money's worth from that. We've just been burning through films. Also it means we can watch whole seasons of TV stuff in a lump, rather than in drizzles, and end up missing half the episodes of something.
Or all the episodes of something. Not having any telly has something to do with that, of course.
ive had netflix for quite awhile now, and i love it. their anime selection gets better all the time, plus all the other stuff. i get really fast turnaround (my movies go back to louisville, kentucky and at most its 2 days before i get new ones) and ive seen stuff that has never and will never play in this town.
Here's lookin' at you kid...
