The camera is nearly all plastic, and somewhat boxy. Peeling back the electrical tape from itself and tearing it into little pieces, I spent the better part of a half hour carefully covering over possible light leaks, knowing I'd probably miss a few anyway. Not like it matters - the charm of the Holga camera is that it takes such 'low-quality,' unpredictable pictures.

These were shot in the last couple of weeks, and processed over at Gamma. They're good, but I think I want to find someone who'll do 120 film proc. for a bit cheaper.

Here's the best results of the first three rolls:

love the pics; the pics of the el are really cool in particular.

it looks like you might have the shutter light leak: http://holgamods.com/leak/leak.html may be a potential solution - i need to try it myself.

beautiful. more!

Ooo, I will check out that link soon. I already put another roll of film in the camera, so I won't be able to fix it right away, but I did put more tape on the inside, especially over a couple of screws around the shutter area that I guess I had missed or didn't think would be leaky.

And, thanks!

Thanks! It's fun, because it's so easy, and you can't really mess it up.

Oh, cool! If you've got any of your pics webbed or anything, I would like to see them. Hopefully I can get that one leak a bit more subdued, if not fixed.

Well, there's really only two, right? I got the one that does not have a flash/battery unit in the camera. :)
