If, after the Salem witch trials, after slavery, after women's sufferage, after the Japanese internment camps, after the Manhattan Project, Nagasaki, Hiroshima and the Cold War, after Vietnam, after the Iran-Contra affair, and after two Persial Gulf wars, you would then decide to withhold your allegiance from the United States because it legalizes same-sex marriage, then your barbarism, your ignorance, your bigotry, your moral chauvinism, your cultural myopia, your sublimated bloodlust, and your contempt for the actual principles upon which this country was founded -- all these know no bounds.
