I have only once found every single person around me to be beautiful. It was on a busy street in Nairobi. I was unexpectedly suffused with a profound sense of the interconnectedness of all life, from air molecules to plate tectonics to humanity's existence. My one and only epiphany.
It hasn't survived working with the general public.
