Mike and I were off to bed last night and there's an automatic light on the steps up to the bedroom that turns on when someone starts climbing the steps and turns off after a few minutes. Mike was getting ready for bed when the automatic light turned off.
"Watch out for grues!" I joked.
In a nervous tone he said, "Uhhh... turn on light" and he turned on his bedside light.
We laughed and he made a note that as long as you don't move from your spot, you can do whatever and the grue won't get you. I made the observation that it's good to have a partner that you can tell Zork jokes with. He agreed. We're just dorks.
