I think I might've seriously kicked some ass at my audition tonight. I am mostly prepared to deal with disappointment, but as for personal satisfaction, I am at 99%.


(This missing 1%? Oh, I totally missed the subtext of this one particular line. I still played it mostly right, but I didn't get what she was doing until I was unlocking my car and slinging my bag into the backseat. Damn! Ah well. The intention was right, generically. It would've been so nice to have that extra nuance.)

The play is "Good," by C.P. Taylor. 'Sgot singing Nazis in it and stuff. Fer real.

While I never saw any of your audition, the upbeat, happy energy I was getting off of you that whole evening told me that you most definitely did. It's all in Mary Pat's hands now, but I have a good feeling that at least one of us (probably you) is going to get something in this show. G'luck...I've got my fingers crossed for both of us.
