Despite all the war crap, my life is going really really well. I'm happy, I'm surrounded by all sorts of goodness, I love my apartment, and I contacted a theatre group about an audition.
I want to write stories down more than I am right now.
Dinner has been bowls of soup, sourdough bread, large glasses of ice water. Frozen strawberries, as usual, grabbed from the bag in the freezer. Lemongrass incense burned, sheets and towels changed. Life is slowly becoming more streamlined. What I need, as opposed to what I've been hanging onto.
A good exhaustion, borne of lifting bags of laundry and of brisk walking downtown, to and from public transportation, is settling into my limbs. My eyes are heavy. I've got dishes to do and hand-washing of more clothes before I climb into bed. Too much to do, and it feels good.
