If you're really serious about getting to a slam, I strongly recommend the Green Mill on 9/29 or the Note on 9/30-- both are featuring Jeffrey McDaniel, who's one of the best poets you'll see anywhere.

I was honestly just poking fun at myself for writing such a silly tripey faux poem in the journal entry, but I think I'll take your advice and try to go either of those nights.

I wish I'd been able to go and see you perform when you've been in town. My schedule's always prevented me, somehow. Dammit.
