I love that and how you change your site design every now and again. It's just so... perfect. I also know pretty much exactly of everything you mean in it. I hate to classify you, but welcome to the late-20s funk. I'm pretty sure we'll be out of it any day now, tho'. At least, that's what I've been saying for the past four years or so. :)
Yeah, definitely late-20's funk. A few friends of mine who are just now hitting 25, 26, 27, they're all falling into the pit I am just now pulling myself out of. I just tell them that I know, I know the pain and the angst and the doubt and the apathy and the bullshit, and that you just have to wait it out sometimes, otherwise you will go insane trying to fix it all to be back like it was at the beginning of your 20's.
And thanks about the designs. It's nice to have a change-up every now and again. Keeps my skillz sharp, yo.
I think a large part of it has to do with children. Or the lack thereof. I think everyone goes through this, but our generation is the first where it was really accepted to not have kids right away. In fact, even expected that you won't until at least mid to late 20s. Our parents and all before them had children to look after. And children change your life. So it was different. We have this void, and nothing to fill it, or distract from it.
Very cool design. But did you have to have a picture with bugs in it? :: shudders ::
And don't worry about the late-20s thing. The astrologists call it a "Saturn return" (because Saturn comes 'round every 28 years or so). You'll get through it, without having to have kids.
