I spent some therapeutic time yesterday re-working all the cables and wires coming to and from my computer. I used my can of air to blast out the vents and nooks and crannies, I swept under the desk, wiped all surfaces clean, moved my printer to a new spot, same for the scanner.

In a ceremonial flourish, I re-connected everything, powered 'er up, and everything's good.

I somehow still ended up with an extra power cord. What the?
