Sep. 23rd, 2005 06:42 pmI'm goin' a little stir crazy, what with my brother and his wife staying put in Houston while the hurricane swooshes by. I've got one beer in the fridge. I think I might play some Diablo II. Dunno. Some Chrono Trigger would be nice. Since I'm getting towards the end and all. I could definitely do some tidying around here. My office is like, the state of my bedroom circa 1990 - absolute clutter. Manageable, and just a result of starting a bunch of mini projects, but I just can't put my mind to it.
Last weekend I watched two more episodes of Carnivale. Maybe I'll watch a few more, as well as a heaping helping of Cowboy Bebop and and and
When I got home from work a little while ago, the one lizard was looking particularly shrunken, and was respirating rather heavily, doing a little twitchy convulsing. I am not sure he will make it through the night, honestly. I've done all I can, but he was shriveled and starved when I picked them up at the beginning of this week, and I think all the stress and moving and previous weeks of care have taken their toll.
I am trying not to freak over that, or over my brother. My shoulders are a bit knotted up. The hurricane charts are more promising for Houston than they were just last night. Everything's going to be OK.
Maybe my brother will finally watch that copy of The Matrix that I gave to him eons ago. What a jerk.
