The waking up several times during the night was getting to me, just a little.
So, I took a personal day, and dosed up last night with an Advil (my neck has been a minor mess because of sleep dep), two Kalms (essentially, Valerian tablets with a nice thick coating), and a cotton ball, doused with Somnus oil from Black Phoenix Alchemy Lab, which was then tucked into my pillowcase. Thanks,

I still woke up around 6, and then shortly after 8, but I felt so pleasantly sleepy that I crawled back in, poofed the Somnus pillow to get a bit more scent, and then slept like the freaking dead until just after noon.
I don't know how much better I feel, honestly. But I am going to trust right now that I've helped myself a little.
This storm eye has been a little too calm, I think, and so the summer cabin fever worked on me more than I thought it would. Now I've battened down the hatches, and I feel like I'll be more ready for whatever comes ...
