(no subject)

I have my alarm clock set to blare WBEZ at me every morning. Self-satisfied, sonorous NPR voices get me up and running to slam the damn thing off much faster than a shrill beeping or alternative rock.

I managed to shut it off right after the words, "... with a high of 93 degrees," and all I want to do is call in to work. Holy hell.

And then I think, I work in a totally air-conditioned building, and I should take advantage of that.
