This afternoon at lunch, I sat at one of the small round tables near the windows, and watched the three or four snowflakes that manifested in the Loop swirl around in the air. Suddenly, as a cloud somewhere up above barfed, the air was filled with a windy and frenetic blizzard.

I watched with sleep-heavy eyes, allowing myself to daydream myself into a Friday mood. A few minutes later I awoke, palm of my hand pressed into my cheek warmly and securely, all the co workers around me none the wiser.

A few minutes after I shook the tendrils of REM seduction from my brain, the snow dissipated, leaving the streets wetted, but that's about all.

It's colder now, than it was before. Not quite wintery, but maybe we'll get there before the weekend is out.

I am still sleepy. My date from last week is coming over tonight and we're watching Wilde, with Stephen Fry.

Isn't Fry just amazing? He's so cool. I am really looking forward to this.
