Apr. 18th, 2004 09:39 amWent to lunch with Trish and Jared at Gino's East, noticing that in the foin foin weather we've been having, downtown Chicago was cool and crisp and had this open feel to the air. There was a sort of haze about a half mile in from the lake, but it became more apparent that what I was seeing, once off the train and walking towards Michigan Ave., was fog. Very San Franciscan fog. Cool and sharp, tempered by sun. It hung near the tops of buidings, dissipating into clarity anywhere below ten stories.
