It's warm here, but my father would have me think it's cold cold cold. I walk around with nothing more than a t shirt and slacks, and he thinks I am nuts. I still feel warm, in spite of that.
His midwestern roots have definitely left the building.
I watched surfers in Malibu, and I watched mist fall all over Santa Monica Pier and coat everything in a dreary white smegma of apathetic fog.
California's so weird, especially the SoCal part.
