Dude, even back when I had the orchid design, the journal was called Glitter. Before that, it was on Geocities, and it didn't really have a name, per se (I suppose ephemera was what I was calling it, but it was more the site itself than the construct of the journal), but it's still part of the larger body of work.
eggplant.simplenet.com came about because it was supposed to be a shared space for both Scott and myself, and I didn't want to pick a username that was so girly, and have Scott have to tell friends, "Yeah, uh, my site is glitter.simplenet.com ... and stuff."
Oh, wait - the orchid design was even on Geocities. Yep. I remember, because I had applied to be part of this webring called Illumine, and the elitest fucks there turned down my application primarily because I was on Geocities. God, what snots they were.
Anyway, I appreciate the semantics, but I'll just have to beg to differ. :)
