In the past few days I've:
Turned 30
Had a big party to celebrate that
Seen a bunch of movies
Played a lot of video games
Watched the sun brilliantly flood my kitchen nearly every morning
Made all sorts of food, including eggplant salad and fruit smoothies and hummus
Been hosting my friend Andy, who flew in from Scotland last Thursday, and seems to like Chicago pretty well
Finally caught up on sleep, I think
Life is good, my friends.
