I have my alarm clock set to blare WBEZ at me every morning. Self-satisfied, sonorous NPR voices get me up and running to slam the damn thing off much faster than a shrill beeping or alternative rock.

I managed to shut it off right after the words, "... with a high of 93 degrees," and all I want to do is call in to work. Holy hell.

And then I think, I work in a totally air-conditioned building, and I should take advantage of that.

Greeeurgh.

See you should live in Seattle... Though then you would have to deal with less than 8 hours of sunlight in the winter that is if the sun manages to peek out from behind the totally overcast skies. But in the summer it is still cool enough in the morning that hot coffee is desired and it techincally does not get dark right now when the days are their longest.
